Our Activities vary with the interests of our residents and are planned to meet their physical, cognitive, social and spiritual needs and provide good self esteem.
Physical: Wellness/Fitness Groups, Bowling, Golf, Horseshoe, Wii games etc. as well as rehab with the nursing dept.
Cognitive: Mental Aerobics, Trivia, Word Games. Newspapers read twice a week and also a Reading club. Resident Council is held monthly to allow resident to make choices about care, food and activities.
Social: Meeting and greeting old and new friends. Coffee hour daily for residents, families and friends. Birthday parties, card games, dining out and happy hour. Entertainers provide musical and informative programs.
Spiritual: Sunday church services held in the facility, Bible study available as well as prayer and communion services. Very supportive pastors in our area.
Self Esteem: Beauticians come to the facility twice weekly. Barber also every six weeks. Volunteers from the Auxillary provide manicures twice a month. Residents are dressed attractively daily and well groomed.
Our staff take pride in our programs and enjoy planning new activities and have a great time with "our" residents.
